The AS3202T dual-bay and AS3204T quad-bay NASes are powered by 1.6 GHz Intel Celeron N3160 quad-core processors with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM.

ASUSTOR has designed the AS320XT line with low cost in mind. Only 3.5" drives are supported (currently 8 TB maximum) and they aren’t hot-swappable, requiring cover removal for tool-less installation.

RAM capacity is fixed at 2 GB and there is only one Gigabit Ethernet port, three USB 3.0 ports and no USB 2.0 or eSATA ports. The company specs performance at over 110 MB/s write and 112 MB/s read with a RAID 1 volume.

Other features include 4K ultra high definition multimedia playback, AES-NI hardware encryption and hardware transcoding support.

Like other ASUSTOR NASes, the new 32 series runs ASUSTOR’s ADM NAS OS with features including SMB 2.0 support and installable apps to add antivirus and Dropbox, Google Drive and HiDrive cloud storage access, among other features.

The AS3202T and AS3204T include three-year limited warranties and are shipping now at MSRPs of $299 and $399, respectively.
