QNAP Releases Marvell-based NAS Trio

QNAP has announced three NASes based on a new Marvell processor.

The TS-419P II (4-drive), TS-219P II (2-drive), and TS-119P II (single-drive) all use a new 2.0 GHz Marvell CPU and have 512 MB of DDRIII RAM and 16 MB of flash.

All feature easy-access drive bays (hot-swappable on the two and four drive models), USB 2.0 and eSATA ports and Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports (two on the four-bay model).

QNAP P II series

QNAP quotes 109 MB/s read and 75 MB/s write speeds in its product announcement.

All run QNAP’s version 3.5 OS with features including QNAP’s MyCloudNAS private cloud system, HTTP, FTP and WebDAV file access, iSCSI target, media serving and backup to attached drives or networked targets.

The TS-419P II, TS-219P II, and TS-119P II are all shipping now with street pricing of $549, $349 and $249, respectively.
