QNAP has launched a new home NAS line using Marvell’s latest storage processor.

The TS-x19P+ line is targeted primarily at home and SOHO users. All models use the new Marvell 1.6 GHz 88F6282 Kirkwood storage processor also used in Buffalo’s new V series [review].

The single bay TS-119P+, dual bay TS-219P+ and quad bay TS-419P+ all include 512 MB of DDRIII RAM and Gigabit LAN ports (dual ports on the TS-419P+). All models accept either 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hot-swappable drives of up to 2TB capacity, and support RAID 0/1 (TS-219P+) and RAID 0/1/5/6/5+hot spare (TS-419P+) with online RAID capacity expansion and online RAID level migration.

The new line runs QNAP’s V3.3 OS with features including UPnP / DLNA and iTunes media servers, BT / FTP / HTTP and eMule downloader, IP camera recording and music, photo and video streaming to iOS and Android devices.

The TS-119P+, TS-219P+ and TS-419P+ will all start shipping this month at MSRPs of $279, $349 and $589, respectively.
