Shipments are not on hold. See this story.

SmallNetBuilder learned of the decision via an email Q&A while testing the Business Storage 4-Bay model for review.

Senior Corporate Communications Manager Nathan Papadopulos said "we are planning a stop ship on this product and will not be releasing it again until we have a software and firmware release later next month. I apologize for the inconvenience but the number of issues that have come to our attention warrants such action".

The stop ship affects all Business Storage models. The new line, introduced in February, replaces the Black Armor NAS family introduced in 2009.
