Amped Wireless just announced a compact 802.11ac wireless extender.
The REC15A High Power Compact 802.11ac Wi-Fi Range Extender is an AC1200 class wireless range extender supporting both 2.4 and 5 GHz network extension simultaneously in a compact wall-plugged format.
Amped says the REC15A's four power amplifiers produce 500 mW of transmit power, providing up to 5,000 sq. ft. of extended coverage. There is also a single Ethernet port enabling use as a wireless bridge.

MSRP is $99.99 and it's available for pre-order today from Amped's website. Shipments start this quarter.
