CES 2009: LaCie rolls out HDMI-connected USB Drive

The LaCinema Classic Hard Disk supports MPEG4, MP3 and JPEG video playback as well as HD-JPEG over its HDMI output. SPDIF coaxial audio and component video outputs are also provided.

The drive comes with an IR remote and includes a full-featured audio and photo players.

The drive is DivX-certified and comes in 500 GB and 1 TB models. It is available now at an MSRP of $169.99 for the 500 GB model.
