Best Buy today announced a wireless HDMI cable eliminator using 60 GHz WirelessHD technology.
The Rocketfish RF-WHD100 WirelessHD Adapter includes receiver and transmitter modules (each with one HDMI port), HDMI cables and power adapters.
It wirelessly connects HDMI components such as Blu-ray players, A/V receivers, video-game consoles, and set-top boxes to HDTV's, monitors and projectors.
The adapter set uses WirelessHD technology that operates in the 60 GHz band to send lossless HDMI signals up to 1080p / 60 fps anywhere within a 10 M range. Deep color, 120 Hz refresh, 7.1 surround, Dolby TrueHD and DRT-HD and HDMI CEC control functions are all supported.
The adapters are available now for $599.99 from Best Buy.
