D-Link has announced an IP camera with 802.11ac wireless.
D-Link claims its DCS-2136L mydlink-enabled Wireless N Day/Night Camera is the first to use draft 802.11ac for its wireless network connection.
Product details are slim and there is no product image or webpage posted for the product yet.
D-Link has shared that it's a HD resolution (1280x720) network camera supporting H.264, MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG compression, with built-in mic and speaker for two-way audio and microSD slot for local storage.
The DCS-2136L also features an integrated white light LED that enables color images in low light and total dark conditions.
D-Link hasn't set a price yet since the camera won't be shipping until "late 2013".
