D-Link Makes Network Cam Recording Cheap

D-Link logoD-Link has announced a $100 IP camera recorder.

The DNR-202L mydlink Camera Video Recorder is a dedicated network camera recorder for D-Link’s line of mydlink IP cameras.

It connects to your network via a 10/100 Ethernet port and has two USB 2.0 ports to add flash or hard USB storage up to 4 TB.

The recorder supports H.264 / MPEG-4 / MJPEG at 720p / 30 fps for live streaming, JPEG for still images and G.711 / G.726 audio.

The DNR-202L can simultaneously record from up to four mydlink-enabled network cameras and can support simultaneous live viewing and playback while recording.

Other features include scheduled, manual, event (motion activated) and continuous recording modes and full playback controls.

The recorder is accessed either by web browser through D-Link’s mydlink portal or via iOS and Android mydlink View apps. There are no monthly service charges.

The DIR-202L is shipping now for around $100.
