ZyXEL Has A New AP For Your Ceiling

ZyXEL logoZyXEL has introduced a "smoke detector" style 802.11b/g/n access point.

The NWA1121-N1 is a single band 802.11b/g/n SNMP-managed business-grade WLAN access point supporting link rates of up to 300 Mbps.

The plenum-rated Wi-Fi Certified AP can be powered by a 12VDC power supply or via 802.3af Power over Ethernet.

Features include dual internal 3 dBi antennas, 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet LAN port, 8 SSIDs with VLAN mapping, dual-stack IPv4 and IPv6 support and MAC address filtering.

Wireless security features include WEP/WPA/WPA2 Home / Enterprise encryption, 802.1x and EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, EAP-PEAP, EAP-FAST, EAP-AKA, EAP-SIM authentication. Management is via built-in web interface, command line or SNMP.

The NWA1121-N1 will be available shortly at an MSRP of $169.99.
