Router and CardBus reference designs from Atheros, Broadcom, Intel, Marvell and Ralink are used in the interoperability test bed, and are the first devices to become Wi-Fi CERTIFIED. Cisco also has an Access Point design in the test bed and WildPackets OmniPeek Workgroup Pro is included as a test bed software tool.

The Alliance said that it is still on track for a "late June" launch of its certification program.
