Edimax logoEdimax has started to ship its new business access points

The CAP1200 dual-band ceiling-mount AC1200 class enterprise access point supports maximum link rates of 300 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps in 5 GHz.

It supports a scalable AP array architecture for central management of multiple access points. Features include built-in RADIUS server, 32 SSIDs and UL94-5VB flame-retardant plastic housing.

The WAP1750 is a 3×3 AC1750 class AP supporting up to 100 users. Features include multiple SSIDs, Power over Ethernet and built-in RADIUS server with support for 256 accounts. An optional 27.5dBm directional antenna for coverage expansion is also available.

The WAP1750 lists for $279 and the CAP1200 for $149.99. Both are available now.

We've learned that Linksys will be discontinuing its least-expensive WRT150N when current inventory runs out. This will leave the WRT160N, which was introduced in January as Linksys' only entry-level draft 802.11n router.
