TRENDnet Announces DD-WRT AC Router Compatibility

TRENDnet logoTRENDnet says three of its 802.11ac routers can now be flashed with DD-WRT.

The three models are TRENDnet’s TEW-818DRU (v1.0), TEW-812DRU (v2.0), and TEW-811DRU (v1.0).

As is the case with most routers, TRENDnet notes Installing DD-WRT firmware voids TRENDnet’s warranty.

Netgear today announced the availability of a residential gateway with integrated 3G "femtocell" cellular base station.

The DVG834GH Femtocell Voice Gateway incorporates an ADSL2+ modem, router with SPI+NAT firewall, 10/100 switch, 802.11g wireless access point, Voice over-IP (VoIP) and 3G "ZoneGate" femtocell technology from Ubiquisys Ltd.
