TRENDnet said it has started to ship a three-stream 802.11n wireless Ethernet adapter announced at CES.

The company said the TEW-687GA 450Mbps Wireless N Gaming Adapter is on the way to online and retail stores.

The adapter is the first product that supports full 450 Mbps link rates to three-stream 802.11n routers for Ethernet devices. It functions as a wireless bridge, so, with the addition of a switch, can support connection to multiple Ethernet devices, such as game consoles and networked media players.

The 2.4 GHz single-band adapter has a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port and supports Wi-Fi Protected setup wireless security.

The TEW-687GA is covered by a three year limited warranty and lists for $149.99.
