ZyXEL has announced a simultaneous dual-band VPN router with three stream N support on both bands.

The NBG5715 supports up to 450 Mbps link rates (in 40 MHz bandwidth mode) on both bands when used with three-stream capable clients.

The router stands out from the pack of other three-stream N routers by also offering an IPsec endpoint supporting up to five tunnels. It is also one of the few to support three-stream N on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

Other features of the 802.11a/b/g/n router include Gigabit Ethernet ports (one WAN, four switched LAN), upgradeable antennas, two USB 2.0 ports supporting storage and printer sharing and WEP, WPA / WPA2 and WPS wireless security.

The NBG5715 is available now at an MSRP of $250.
