Pogoplug has finally joined the ranks of cloud storage providers.

The company today announced Pogoplug Cloud, which starts you off with a 5 GB free account. 50 GB and 100 GB of additional cloud storage are available for $9.95/month and $19.95/month, respectively.

The new service works with existing Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android apps for desktop connection and automatic mobile device photo backup and video and music streaming support.

So as long as you don’t mind your files residing on Pogoplug’s servers, it appears that you get all the Pogoplug benefits without needing your own Pogoplug appliance and attached USB drive.
