ZyXEL logoZyXEL says it has started to ship a cloud-enabled wireless access point.

The NWA1100N-CE can be controlled both locally via a web-based interface or remotely via PowerCloud Systems' CloudCommand web service.

CloudCommand creates a single virtual wireless network across multiple different locations. Administrators can manage and upgrade APs and receive real-time alerts via emails and cell phones for all devices no matter where they are physically located.

ZyXEL NWA1100N-CE

The NWA1100N-CE supports single band 2.4 GHz 802.11n at link speeds up to 300 Mbps. Features include PoE, multiple SSIDs and AP, bridge, repeater and wireless client modes.

ZyXEL is offering a free one-month trial of the cloud-management service with NWA1100N-CE purchase. There is also an exclusive promotion with PC Connection that gets you a free NWA1100N-CE with the purchase of three years of cloud-management service for $299.
