QNAP will be showing its new line of business NASes based on Intel’s 1.6 GHz D510 dual-core Atom processor.

The TS-259 Pro, TS-459 Pro, TS-659 Pro and TS-859 Pro all accept 2.5 or 3.5" SATA drives and have been certified as compatible with VMware’s vSphere4 (ESX 4.0) virtualization platform.

QNAP "5" Series NASes

All of the new "5" series models run the new version 3.2 of QNAP’s OS, which includes new business-focused features such as an iSCSI service that supports SPC-3 Persistent Reservation for clustering in VMware and Windows Server 2008, MPIO and MC/S.

Other new features include DFS support (Folder Aggregation), import of user-lists and IPv6 and Apple Time Machine support.

All models will begin shipping this month at MSRPs of $599, $899, $1199 and $1499 for the 259, 459, 659 and 859, respectively.
