Trendnet Launches AV2 1200 Powerline/Wireless Access Point Combo

The new WiFi Everywhere Powerline 1200 AV2 Access Point (TPL-430AP) announced at CES 2017 today combines powerline and wireless capabilities to help provide better coverage at home. The adapter’s simultaneous dual-band AC1200 class wireless access point can connect to your home’s network via either its built-in HomePlug AV2 powerline adapter or three port Gigabit Ethernet switch.

The TPL-430AP is also available as part of the TPL-430PK kit that includes TRENDnet’s TPL-421E Powerline 1200 AV2 Adapter with Built-in Outlet.

The TPL-430AP comes pre-encrypted for a quick and secure auto-connecting installation, while its WiFi Clone feature copies the home’s wireless configuration for immediate integration.

The TPL-430AP WiFi Everywhere Powerline 1200 AV2 Access Point and TPL-430PK WiFi Everywhere Powerline 1200 AV2 Kit will be available sometime in April, with MSRPs of $124.99 and $174.99, respectively.
