The D-Link MediaLounge DSM-330 supports networked playback of music, photos and high definition video. It has been available in Europe since last year and its U.S. availability was announced at January’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The DSM-330 can play DivX, DivX VOD and Xvid video at 720p resolution. It also supports WMV9 playback using a Windows PC for transcoding. JPEG, JPEG2000 and BMP still images and MP3, WMA (PC transcoded), M3U, M3U8 and PLS audio playback is also supported. Network connection is via 10/100 Ethernet or 802.11g Wi-Fi.

Also starting shipment is D-Link’s DSM-210 10" Wireless Internet Photo Frame, which can display locally-connected, networked and Internet-based still image content.

Direct-connect formats include USB thumb, SD, MMC, and Memory Stick flash drives. Images can also be loaded into its 1 GB internal memory, or played from a UPnP AV server.

D-Link has partnered with FrameChannel to provide access to Internet-based content including Flickr, Picasa, Facebook photo sharing, RSS feeds, weather and more. Internet content is managed via www.internetphotoframe.com.

Other features include 10/100 Ethernet and 802.11g Wi-Fi network connection and power-saving motion detection.

The DSM-330 and DSM-210 are available now for MSRPs of $299.99 and $249.99 respectively.
