HP launches a new product line for hybrid cloud solutions aimed at the enterprise market.

HP’s announcement of their new product line, called Hybrid Delivery, looks to push the concept of hybrid cloud deployments further into the mainstream enterprise market. Hybrid cloud infrastructures have been in development for some time, as enterprises are leery of moving their entire infrastructures outside the protection of their primary networks.

Furthermore, many cloud deployments offer little to no SLA, and consolidating critical consumer data into improperly secured data centers causes further concerns. This is where hybrid cloud solutions have aimed to provide a balance between traditional, private, and public cloud infrastructures.

HP’s hybrid cloud approach provides a combination of HP servers in data centers with the customer’s servers in local data centers. This would allow enterprise customers to use HP’s data centers for non-critical information and rapid deployment of new services, while still maintaining critical data and services in their local facilities.

More information on HP’s Hybrid Delivery products can be found on the HP Hybrid Delivery website.
