Buffalo Technology has announced a single-drive addition to its CloudStor family.

The CloudStor Solo joins the original dual-drive CloudStor [reviewed] in Buffalo’s family of cloud-accessible storage products based on Pogoplug‘s cloud services.

New features have also been added to CloudStor, including USB backup, multi-user support, private shares, Time Machine support for Mac OS Lion and "all-new" friendlier UI. The free update is being pushed automatically to all online CloudStor units and will ship on the new Solo.

The CloudStor Solo will be available at the end of this month at the estimated street price of $119.99 for the 1 TB (CS-X1.0) and $169.99 for the 2 TB (CS-X2.0). All CloudStor products include a limited one-year warranty that includes toll-free 24/7 US based technical support.
