D-Link Intros Cheaper Smart Plug

D-Link logoD-Link has announced a less expensive network-controlled power outlet.

The DSP-W110 Wi-Fi Smart Plug shares most of the features of D-Link’s more expensive DSP-W215 Wi-Fi Smart Plug except for Energy Monitoring and Thermal Shutoff.

Both products are controlled via Android and iOS apps that work in conjunction with D-Link’s mydlink web portal. Features include power schedules, 2.4 GHz N150 Wi-Fi connection with pushbutton secure Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS).

The DSP-W110 is available now at a $39.99 MSRP. The DSP-W215 lists for $10 more.
