QA Cafe has launched a new free online service for viewing packet sniffer capture files.

CloudShark displays network capture files in a web browser instead of running desktop tools such as Wireshark. You can upload, link, or email capture files and the site will display them.

Capture files are limited to 512 Kbytes and many packet capture formats are supported in addition to Wireshark’s native libpcap / WinPcap format.

The service is free and available now at http://cloudshark.org/.

CloudShark was created by QA Cafe, creators of CDRouter, a CPE testing solution.
