D-Link Adds Smart Gigabit Switch Pair

D-Link logoD-Link has added two Gigabit smart switches.

The DGS-1210-52MP supports 48 Gigabit ports and an overall PoE budget of 370 W. The first eight ports comply with the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standard (up to 30W), while the remaining ports support IEEE 802.3af (up to 15.4W). The DGS-1210-52MP also has four Gigabit SFP ports for fiber connectivity.

For smaller non-PoE applications, the DGS-1210-10 has eight Gigabit ports and two Gigabit SFP ports.

Both switches can be managed via web interface, SNMP, CLI via telnet or D-Link’s Network Assistant Utility. Features include bandwidth control, IPv6 support including management, automatic surveillance VLAN, ACL’s, IP-MAC-Port binding and DHCP Server Screening.

The DGS-1210-52MP and DGS-1210-10 will begin shipping late this month at MSRPs of $1,099.99 and $149.99, respectively. Both carry limited lifetime warranties.
