LaCie just gave a +1 for Intel’s Thunderbolt technology with a new DAS using Intel SSDs.

The LaCie Little Big Disk featuring Thunderbolt technology will come with two 250GB Intel 510 Series Solid-State Drives (SSD) preconfigured in RAID 0 (striped).

Two Thunderbolt ports will allow easy daisy-chaining with other Thunderbolt peripherals.

Thunderbolt technology has two 10Gbps channels and runs two protocols (PCI Express and DisplayPort) simultaneously over a single cable. [Intel announcement].

The Little Big Disk will be available by "summer 2011". Pricing was not announced.
