NETGEAR has released an updated NAS OS.
ReadyNAS OS 6.2 brings multiple enhancements to NETGEAR’s ReadyCLOUD personal cloud features, including:
- Enhanced file backup, sync and sharing among Windows and MacOS desktop and Android and iOS devices
- Multiple private Time Machine backup targets with individual user quotas
- Automatic Windows PC and smartphone backup
- File / folder sharing via web and email links
The new OS also features single-click file version rollback, an improved setup process, share-level "bitrot" protection and a refreshed user interface with focus on usability.
ReadyNAS OS 6.2 will be available as a free download later this week for ReadyNAS 100, 300, 500, 700 desktop and 2120, 3220 and 4220 rackmount models.
