Axis Adds More Low Cost IP Cams

Axis logoAxis has added two new models to its "most affordable" IP camera line.

The AXIS M1014 supports HDTV 720p /1 megapixel resolution, while the AXIS M1013 offers SVGA resolution. Other features include motion detection, tamper alarms, H.264 compression and internal micro SDHC card slots. Both cameras can also record to network shares.

Management is via built-in web interfaces and AXIS’ Camera Companion or Camera Station multi-camera management systems.

Axis M1013/M1014 IP camera

Both cameras are expected to start shipping sometime this quarter at MSRPs of $179 for AXIS M1013 and $229 for AXIS M1014.
