ZyXEL logoZyXEL has announced an AC1200 class access point.

The NWA1123-AC Ceiling Mount PoE Access Point is a plenum-rated "smoke detector" style AP supporting maximum link rates of 300 Mbps and 867 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, repspectively. Its single Gigabit Ethernet port supports 802.3af PoE for one-cable connection.

Other features include AP, wireless client and repeater modes and multiple SSID, VLAN, IPv6 and MAC filtering support. Management is via built-in web interface, command line and SNMP.

The NWA1120 series also includes the N300 class 2.4 GHz only NWA1121-NI and N600 class simultaneous dual-band NWA1123-NI.

The NWA1123-AC is shipping now at an MSRP of $199.
