Qualcomm / Wilocity logoQualcomm is reported be in discussions to buy WiGig chip company Wilocity.

Israeli financial site TheMarker reported on Saturday that the price being discussed is in the neighborhood of $300M, but terms have not been settled.

Wilocity announced a partnership with Atheros back in 2010 and Qualcomm purchased Atheros in 2011. So if the deal goes through, Qualcomm will have yet another arrow in its wireless technology quiver.
