D-Link has announced an AC1900 router and Wi-Fi motion sensor
The DIR-880L AC1900 Wi-Fi Router has a fairly standard Broadcom-based design supporting maximum link rates of 1300 Mbps in 5 GHz and 600 Mbps in 2.4 GHz. Features include three external dual-band antennas, Gigabit Ethernet WAN, switched LAN ports and USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports for storage and printer sharing.
Remote portal-based access to files via browser and Android and iOS apps is also supported via mydlink SharePort.
The unique features come in the form of a refreshed user interface, band steering, L2TP Over IPSec VPN Server and airtime fairness.
The DIR-880L is shipping now for $189.99 MSRP.
D-Link also announced the DCH-S150 Wi-Fi Motion Sensor. The new member of D-Link's Connected Home line sends push or text notifications via D-Link's mydlink Home app when motion is detected and pairs with D-Link's Smart Plug [reviewed] to turn devices on/off in response to motion.
The DCH-S150's ship date is fuzzy, but MSRP is set at $39.99
