D-Link Adds To Amplifi ‘Premium’ Home Networking Line

D-Link has added a simultaneous dual-band router and 500 Mbps powerline adapter kit to its Amplifi product line.

The DIR-827 HD Media Router 2000 has two dual-stream radios to provide up to 300 Mbps link rates simultaneously on the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

The router has Gigabit WAN and four switched LAN ports and one USB 3.0 port for storage and printer sharing.

Other features include automatic QoS for prioritizing real-time data and IPv6 support.

The DIR-827 will be available late this month and at an MSRP of $149.99.

Also announced was the DHP-541 PowerLine AV 500 Gigabit Switch Kit consisting of a DHP-540 PowerLine AV 500 four-port Gigabit Switch and one DHP-502AV PowerLine AV 500 Adapter.

The DHP-541 will ship next month with a $159.99 MSRP.
