All of these new desktop NASes support storage expansion via the UX-500P 5-drive and UX-800P 8-drive tower expansion enclosures also announced today. They feature five and eight hot-swappable drive bays, respectively, that accept 2.5" and 3.5" solid state and hard drives.

Although all support the full feature set of QNAP’s QTS 4.1 operating system, the TS-X51 series is targeted at home NAS buyers. • TS-651: 6-bay tower model ($899.99)
