The GS724TPS and GS748TPS ProSafe Advanced Gigabit Smart Switches target small to medium businesses needing full Gigabit switching and PoE support. Both products support up to 30W on each of the first four switch ports and are draft IEEE802.3at draft compliant.

Up to six of each switch can be stacked using two HDMI ports that provide 20 Gbps of bandwidth. Both redundancy and hot-swap are supported for stacking and the GS724TPS and GS748TPS can be stacked with GS7xxTS switches (GS724TS and GS748TS).

Features include access control lists (ACL), 802.1x port authentication, enhanced QoS, rate limiting, web and SNMP (v1, 2 and 3) management.

The GS724TPS and the GS748TPS will be available next month at MSRPs of $899.99 and $1,699.99, respectively.
