Buffalo Announces 1U Rackmount NAS

Features include Apple Time Machine support, secure browser-based remote access, optional volume encryption, NFS and Active Directory support and USB print serving. Two volumes using JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 can be configured with hot spare capability for RAID 1 and 5.

The TeraStation III Rackmount is backed by a limited three-year warranty and will be available late this month at estimated street prices of $1,299.99 for the 2TB (TS-RX2.0TL/R5), $1,799.99 for the 4TB (TS-RX4.0TL/R5), $2,299.99 for the 6TB (TS-RX6.0TL/R5) and $2,999.99 for the 8TB (TS-RX8.0TL/R5).
