Mozy has announced a new program for small businesses looking for hybrid cloud backup solutions.

Hybrid cloud is the latest buzzword among cloud hardware and software providers. It represents a growing trend in industries where going completely cloud isn’t the best option. In backup, several providers like Egnyte have begun integrating with NAS devices that service the SMB market.

MozyConnect is Mozy’s answer to this integration trend. MozyConnect will provide the cloud backup portion for the Cisco NSS300 Series Smart Storage devices [reviewed], and Iomega’s StorCenter desktop and rackmount network storage devices [ix4-200d reviewed].

Full pricing and options is available through Mozy direct sales for the Cisco products. Iomega’s version will be coming online later this spring. Take a look at the Cisco portion of Mozy’s website for more information.
