The HomeBase Hub is a combo home media server and private cloud device making its debut at CES 2017. It plays OTA HD streaming content and storing it on its built-in DVR. The Hub’s cloud services come from its Tonido Private Cloud, making its stored content remotely accessible and allowing the sharing of its content from any device, and also providing automatic backup of photos and videos.
Available in Intel Core i5 and Celeron processors flavors, the Hub comes with 2 TB of storage, while providing these additional features:
- Parental control and fast user switching
- Plex HomeCamera Upload syncs photos from mobile devices
- Mobile Sync synchronizes files to Android, iOS and Windows devices
Available for pre-order on January 5th, the HomeBase Hub will cost $399, and will begin shipping in March, 2017.
